Time for making complaint on audit report will be 30 days from the date of receipt of the report

On 28 July 2016, the State Audit issued Decision No. 03/2016/QD-KTNN stipulating Regulation on settlement of complaints of the audited units.


Accordingly, time for making complaint on audit report will be 30 days from the date of receipt of the report; in case where the audited unit is unable to make complaint on time due to an objective reason, the duration of such objective reason will be exlcuded from time for making complaints. 


Time for settlement of complaints will not exceed 65 days from the date of receipt of complaints. In complicated case, the time would be extended, but not exceeded 90 days, from the date of receipt.


Besides, the Decision also allowed the audited unit to withdraw the complaints at any time during the process of making and settling the complaints; the withdrawal must be made in a written application signed by the legal representative of the audited unit and submitted to the State Audit, etc.


The Decision takes effect from 11 September 2016.
